Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur adipiscing elit sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt.
- Referring Doctor’s Request: MRI Lumbar Spine without contrast.
- Imaging Performed by: Radiographer under supervision of a Consultant Radiologist.
- Imaging Protocol: Sagittal T1, T2, and STIR sequences Axial T1 and T2 through the lumbar intervertebral discs
Final Results :
Impression:
MRI of the lumbar spine demonstrates L4-L5 left paracentral disc protrusion with compression of the left L5 nerve root, associated with mild degenerative changes.Conclusion/Next Steps:
Findings correlate with the patient’s clinical symptoms. Neurology and orthopedic consultations were advised. Conservative management (physiotherapy, pain control) recommended initially; surgical intervention may be considered if symptoms persist or worsen.
